Hi and thanks for stopping by.

My name is Paul Bergmann, this is my wife Megan. I have the privilege of being pastor at Harbourview Community Church.

We welcome you to drop by and worship with us. You will feel like you are with family, (in a good way).

Paul Bergmann was raised on the beautiful West Coast of BC. Born in Kitimat, Paul found himself the third son of four Children in the family of a Christian and Missionary Alliance Pastor. Moving to Chilliwack and finishing his Secondary Education Paul headed out to Regina for Bible College for 2 years and returned with sights set on becoming a Conservation Officer. It was during this time that Paul sensed the call to Church ministry and closing the door on a secular occupation, he headed to Redding, California to finish off his Bible degree from Simpson College.

Upon Graduation Paul Married his beautiful wife Megan, who being trained as Nurse (RN), found themselves migrating to Victoria and accepting the position as associate/ youth pastor at Victoria Pacific Rim Alliance Church where they established and sustained a vibrant youth and college ministry for the duration of 6 years.

Completing their Masters education they felt the increasing call to launch a church plant in the Esquimalt Community of Greater Victoria, where Paul and Megan presently minister at HarbourView Community Church. Their passion for people and Jesus compels them in their ministry and they are excited in the varied roles they have in church and surrounding community.
Paul and Megan have three Children, Bronwyn, Caleb, and Adelle. As a family they enjoy camping in their 1978 Boler travel Trailer and exploring Vancouver Island Parks and Beaches or just hanging around their home and working in their garden.
Paul enjoys the great outdoors especially with a back roads map, a friend and a fishing rod. If he isn’t working on some construction project or serving in his role as a pastor, Paul can be found on many of the local rivers hunting the fall salmon runs or the wiley wild west coast steelhead.
