Every Saturday a bunch of folks from HC and our neighbours run a FREE Market. Here is a quick break down of what happens on a Saturday morning.
Putting it together
Handout the numbers
Set up tents
Set up tables
Prepare the coffee station
Place food on the tables
Organize the groceries on the tables
Sort produce
Call out the numbers
Handout the groceries
Taking it Apart
Takedown the tables
Takedown tents
Clean the tables
Wash up the coffee station and put it away
Dispose of organic waste, cardboard and garbage
All of this between 9 am and 12:15 pm every Saturday since we started last March. Rain or shine the market goes on and the our awesome volunteers get it done for the community.
