Join us this Sunday, for the Living Life Series.  Pastor Neil this week will teach from Paul’s Letter on God’s Chosen Instrument: Influencing and Transforming Lives Philippians 2:19-30

Paul’s letter to the Philippians is one of his prison epistles, written while he was in captivity (likely in Rome around 60-62 AD). It is a deeply personal and encouraging letter addressed to the Christian community in Philippi, a Roman colony in Macedonia.

The main themes of the letter include:

Joy in Christ – Paul repeatedly emphasizes joy, despite his suffering.

Unity and Humility – He encourages the Philippians to be united and to follow Christ’s example of humility (Philippians 2:5-11).

Perseverance in Faith – Paul urges them to remain steadfast in their faith, regardless of opposition.

Contentment in Christ – He speaks about finding peace and strength in Christ, no matter the circumstances (Philippians 4:11-13).

Overall, Philippians is a warm and encouraging letter filled with gratitude, love, and a focus on Christ as the source of true joy and strength.
